1. Squid game is actually based on a real project. It was called the "brother's home". In the 1960s and 1970s south korea was in an economical crisis. So the government kidnapped 30,000 people, have them put on clothes with numbers on them and put them in a place with coloured walls and bunk beds. For what? to play games and escape their miserable loves? No.... They were forced to work.......and work..... and were not even given proper meals..... It was all just forced labour. This project was shut down in 1986 and the survivors are suing the director of squid game but the director has denied any similarities. But when u think about it brother's home is the exact opposite of squid game so I think there is a similarity...... and the gaurds in brother's home also wore pink clothes. 2. Writer of Tokyo revengers was a part of School Gang Ken Wakui, was heavily inspired by his own life experiences when creating the story. Wakui himself was part of a gang during his youth, particularly in the early 2000s 4. Zoro three sword style is inspired by an actual samurai legend Japan's legendary swordman Miyamoto Musashi who was master and practitioner of 2 sword style, oda just added the third one to make it look more cool. 5. Eiichiro oda did a lot of Pirate research before making one piece Blackbeard, kuma, gol d rogers, etc are all based on real life pirates. Gol D roger inspired by Olivier Levasseur who left a treasure map for the people to find before his execution. Blackbeard based on the real life pirate Blackbeard who was very brutal and merciless.
