ok listen....hear me out WASTED POTENTIAL why? season 1 was a rollercoaster fr...great storytelling, animation, fights, character development and the final ep was just the best....the emotions were crazy and it js hit different....season 2 just completely missed the mark....sh!t pacing, and basically 0 hype moments except for thorfinn vs snake, season 1 had fluid animations but season 2 had terrible animation and choreography....putting thorfinn vs thorkell in season 1 with thorfinn vs snake in season 2 in the same category is literally a crime ong....and before u say i dont understand thorfinn or this season was pure development for thorfinn's character is js pure bs.....thorfinn was some edgy guy with a weird hairdo at the start of season 2, then by the end bro became some happy guy with a ponytail....season 1 however was much different, he was an innocent kid who was blinded by revenge at his father's death, however soon looked up to askellad like a mentor, and learned to let go of past grudges thanks to him....but in season 2 thorfinn was pushed to the sidelines just so a mid character like einar with a mid backstory and was simping over a married woman....snake looked cool and all but is just a shallow character, thorfinn, a grown ahh man was screaming in the night and p!ssing his pants cuz of nightmares due to past traumatic experiences over killing a bunch of nobodies that he doesn't even remember.....unarguably the best written character is the wolf thorfinn killed in season 1 episode 5, why do i think that? well that wolf was on the brink of starvation...willing to go the extra mile to get some food from thorfinn who clearly was armed with a knife, yet the wolf carried on to survive but ultimately was killed. its truly saddening to see great potential like season 2 to be wasted just like that....maybe mappa is trash or the writer is just terrible.....but lets all hope that future seasons will capture the charm of season 1 pls dont fire me in the comments....leave a dislike if u need to but all in all i just wanna share my opinions
