They're all the same - Yes. Most Isekai are the same which is why they are in the Isekai genre but there are unique series like Slime that people like simply because they did not flop like most Isekai.

Just power fantasies - Not all Isekai focus on overpowered heroes; some, like No Game No Life, emphasize strategy and intellect.

Poor writing - Like any genre, there are bad stories.

Remember the only time people like Isekai is when a good show comes out after that they start hating on the genre for overpowered MC.
